How to make the package work 100%.

For the Avatar package to work correctly import VRC SDK(Avatar 3.0) and Dynamic Bones(1.2.2) before you import the package.

Preferably you should not try to import this package to an existing project.

(Package comes with Poiyomi(free version)!)

Double-click the scene "DANTE(Model)" to open. It contains the Avatar and everything already setup for you.
